When the Upland family was invited to the NFL Club Member Training Camp Opener, it wasn’t just another weekend — it was an experience. Games, good company, and an indulgent dinner under the Phoenix sky reminded us that joy doesn’t always wait for the off-season. The next day, we traded jerseys for swimsuits at the Westgate Entertainment Complex, where water splashes and retail therapy became their own kind of magic.

And just when we thought the excitement was over, the following weekend brought something even sweeter — a reunion with my eldest daughter, Camari, and the preseason opener against the Kansas City Chiefs. The starters played, the crowd roared, and for a moment, it felt like every chapter of our story was cheering together in one place.
